The first trip to the desert! After hearing all about how great the desert is from my current landlord (Hi Brad!) I decided it was time to finally experience it for myself. So during our spring break this year (2001) we (that is Joy, Jason, Mike, Adam, Jeremy and I) drove to Joshua Tree National Park for an extended weekend of camping and walking. Below are some impressions from our first hike along the Cotton Wood Springs Trail.
